Welcome To The Realities Of American Idol Aka "The Saga Of Sanjaya"

I will readily admit that people change. Our sensibilities change our outlook on life changes our bodies change but I was custom in ear monitors cheap surprised with this year's American Idol changes.

I guess, at one time, I liked Country Music, like George Jones, Mearle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Randy Travis, and others, better. I guess I also liked Top 40 music, sometimes, but not the hard rock songs that became popular. I liked Elton John, Mariah Carey, the Carpenters, and Barry Manilow much better than the groups Steve Hicks liked. While I did like these what do singers listen to in their earpieces and groups, I guess I quit listening to Country Music because I got tired of the songs about cheating and drinking, even though I did like the love songs. I guess I started listening to Christian music more because the songs by the Top 40 artists didn't have the lasting meaning the Christian music did.

The whole was greater than the sum of the parts and if that had been the extent of the show everyone would have had a great time but P!nk has become known for her on-stage and above stage gymnastics and theatrics and this show had those and then some. The evening played to those strengths with a variety of winches pulleys trapezes and cages that elevated her ear monitors above the stage and all while she was singing and not missing a note.

The band performed the song on the roof of one of the buildings near the ceremony and baffled guests and they came on the red carpet. The footage from the stunt was used for the single's feedback music.

No confusion there. The reason I have hit so hard on these points is that the overall song is so powerful, it's just wrong to mess it up with stupid mistakes like that. Mark Knopfler or anyone who has Mark Knopfler's ear: for goodness sake-no, for greatness sake-fix these lyrics!
